Managing internal and external groups requires continual communication, document management and team involvement. TECHNOLOGY SERVICE CORPORATION of Bloomington, Indiana found the solution to their needs in Bravelo. Using Bravelo, they now have one source for managing their internal and external projects.

TECHNOLOGY SERVICE CORPORATION is a high technology company primarily engaged in providing engineering, IT consulting services and specialized products to the United States Government and private industry. Their specialized products include computer software for radar siting, geographic information services, and sensor simulation.

Bravelo is used to manage projects such as the Southern Indiana Business Alliance. This organization serves as a lobbying effort to keep The Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, open in Southern Indiana. Bravelo serves as a clearinghouse for the group's material and improves communication among the participating companies and individuals.

Prior to using Bravelo, TECHNOLOGY SERVICE CORPORATION had multiple systems for sharing and storing information with internal and external groups. They posted data and documents to their intranet, shared files through email and also used Microsoft's SourceSafe.

Under our old system, external groups could have difficulty accessing our FTP servers which would delay distribution of information and require us to send email or hardcopy on an as-needed basis" continues Kaser. "Now with Bravelo, we simply send them a notification email when we post something new and they can retrieve the document themselves. It has enabled all of the users to be more proactive."

TECHNOLOGY SERVICE CORPORATION distributes material to Japan. Using Bravelo, they have eliminated the need to burn and ships cds containing documents and other project-related materials. "We do not have to be concerned with time zones because the information is available to everyone 24 hours a day."
